Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker - What It Is

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Suits beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
